The relief model shows the human circulatory system, downsized to half the original life-size. It clearly shows the lung circulation, the heart with its chambers, artriums and valves, the large vessels and the blood supply to the extremities. The front wall of the heart is removable. Also shown are liver, kidneys, spleen and a part of the intestines. For better localization of the blood vessels, the skeleton is also shown, allowing for three-dimensional understanding of the paths of the vessels.
The model is well suited for use in medical education or for patient infomation. It is mounted on a base plate but is also suitable for hanging.
