Cutasept disinfectants
Cutasept disinfectants from Bode, a Hartmann subsidiary, are suitable for the rapid and lasting disinfection of the skin surface. These skin antiseptics are used, for example, before injections and punctures as well as before surgical procedures. Cutasept products are highly effective against various viruses, bacteria, and fungi.
These are alcohol-based antiseptics intended exclusively for external use. Our range contains Cutasept in various versions and different fill volumes.
Cutasept F – acts quickly & reliably
Cutasept F acts within two minutes – on areas of skin with few sebaceous glands, after just 15 seconds. At the same time, its long-lasting effect is very strong – even 24 hours after application, the microbial count remains just as low. The product is also highly skin-compatible.
Cutasept F is bactericidal, including against MRSA, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, and has limited virucidal activity. In addition to HBV, HIV, and HCV, the product is effective against rotaviruses. Cutasept F can therefore also be used for HIV post-exposure prophylaxis.
Cutasept G – for marking the disinfection area
Cutasept G is a colored antiseptic used to mark the disinfection area before injections, punctures, or invasive procedures.
In terms of composition and efficacy, this product is otherwise identical to the Cutasept F mentioned above. The yellow-orange dye mixture in Cutasept G also enables conspicuous visual marking of the disinfected skin area.
Cutasept Feet – foot care & athlete's foot prevention
Cutasept Feet is a fragrance-free, alcohol-based foot spray with a dual effect.
The product acts quickly and reliably and provides tired feet with invigorating freshness through its cooling effect. At the same time, Cutasept Feet helps prevent athlete's foot by reliably killing the causative pathogens during application.
Since athlete's foot can spread quickly through infected flakes of skin, shoes or socks can also be treated with the spray. Within a contact time of approximately 30 seconds, athlete's foot pathogens remaining in the footwear are killed.
Possible uses for Cutasept Feet include use in washrooms and shower rooms, saunas, swimming pools, etc. Shoes can also be treated with Cutasept Feet when changing shoes between different people, as is done, for example, at bowling alleys.
Note: Do not spray Cutasept Feet on open wounds or use it near the eyes.
